Starters who are interested in receiving support for their innovative projects should contact one of the cooperating VLAIO partners. Each partner can put forward a limited number of starters as candidates to VLAIO. The VLAIO partner will guide you to make your application as clear as possible.

Those selected by the VLAIO partners will have access to the online submission portal to start the subsidy application. The applicants present their project to a jury by means of a pitch (max. 15 minutes), followed by a Q&A. The total duration is a maximum of 45 minutes.

Depending on the submission date (= submission of subsidy application to VLAIO), the starter will be invited to pitch in one of the following periods:

• The week of February 10 to 14 '25 (submission until January 31)
• The week of March 31 to April 4 '25 (submission until March 14)
• The week of June 2 to 6 '25 (submission until May 16)
• The week of September 23 to 29 '25 (submission until September 5)
• The week of December 1 to 5 '25 (submission until November 14)
